Very first party coming up HELP!!!

Ok im having my very first party coming up the 25th. IM SCARED! what do i do what do i say? Ive never had a tupperware party before becuase my recriuiter never showed up! :yessmiley
I need ideas of what to say this is for a bunch of women who probably have had one before (older ladies) Given im only 24 never seen one of these things in my life :help: im gonna go battey!!!!!!!!!!! :thanks2 :swing:

First of all, have fun! Don't stress too much (although I still get a little nervous before a party after 18 months). Turn your nervous energy into excitement about the products.

One thing I did at first was to make notes about the key points I wanted to remember and made little cheat sheets attached right to the product. You can even make them look pretty and use them as part of your display. I also still tape the item number and price to the bottom of each product I display so if someone wants to purchase it I can tell them just to right item number whatever on their order form.

I would recommend some kind of door prize drawing - it doesn't have to be anything big. You would be amazed how excited people get over a keychain or a magnet. I usually give the magnetic measuring spoons as my door prize gift and now that they are the fundraiser item it gives you an excuse to talk about the fundraiser (here is your prize and by the way, this item is available for only $3 and $2.50 of that goes directly to the Tupperware Children's Foundation).

I would demo only products you know and love - I never add an item to my demo unless I personally use it myself. If you are new and haven't had a lot of experience with the products then ask the guests if they have used them and what they like about them. At one of my parties a guests starting raving so much about the Rock n Serve that every single person there bought some. If no one there has any experience with the products, then they won't know if you don't cover everything!!!

Do you have the DVD that came with your kit? I think it was called Taste of Tupperware DVD or something like that. If you have it, watch it! It shows how to do a Salsa Express Party! I had my first party on October 12th and I pretty much followed what they did on the dvd. It was a big help!

I was nervous about my first party 3 years ago...I decided to let the guests know that it was my first party, and as a special thank you for bearing with me on the "special occasion", I offered them a 10% discount on their orders. They were a great first audience, and I actually learned a lot from them, as they had all had TW parties in the past, and they all really loved their TW...they were more than willing to share their past experiences with each other and with me as well! I've had parties since then, some with more guests and more sales, but honestly, that was my favorite one!
