A Special thank you to Shelly Hill for Sharing this information with us,

Hello,
I thought I would share a few tips on how I show customer appreciation with ALL of my ONLINE
customers!
#1) I email each one to Thank Them for shopping at my Online Tupperware Webstore. I explain
that their purchase is being shipped direct from Tupperware & should arrive within 5-10 business
days. I also let them know that I send out a sep. FREEBIE gift package to them that should also
arrive around the time they receive their delivery from Tupperware. I also include in that EMAIL
my phone # and 2 email addys should they need to contact me about any delivery problems.
#2) I follow up about 10 days later to ask if they got BOTH of the shipments (one from the
company & one from me) and to ask if everything was satisfactory with their purchase! I also
reinforce that they can contact me any time for future purchases or to host a party or for Warranty
Issues.
#3) I follow up asap with getting that freebie gift package out to them! YES, I do send a small
freeie gift package to ALL of my customers! These are our Tupperware Gadgets PLUS if I am
running a FREE gift with XYZ amount of purchase that also goes in with the freebie gifts package!
I include a copy of a current catalog, magnetic business card, contact INFO sheet that talkes
about our Party Oppty & our Business Oppty etc. I also give them 3-5 business cards for my
referral program (they get a FREE gift for referring NEW customers to me). I also try to include a
HAND WRITTEN customer Thank YOU for shopping at my online store with Every purchase
especially for FIRST TIME CUSTOMERS of mine!
#4) About 30 days after their purchase I email them again just letting them know about my online
newsletter, contest, specials etc & in that email I again thank them for shopping at my webstore &
I tell them they can sign up for my newsletter ANY time by filling out the form on my website.
#5) About 2 months after the initial purchase I usually drop a sales catalog into the mail to them
or a sales flyer just to keep my business in front of them. I continue this about every 2 months or
so.
#6) Every time we come out with NEW Main LINE catalogs, I send out POSTCARDS via
POSTAL mail that says "Our New Catalogs have just arrived! Please contact me if you would like
to receive a FREE Updated Catalog!" & I have my phone #, postal addy, website addy & email all
on that post card! (YES I buy them at www.thebooster.com) Its MUCH more cost EFFECTIVE to
send postcards them doing mailings of full size catalogs! This will also show you who is going to
be a repeat customer & who is a ONE TIME buyer so you dont waste your money. NOW, when I
do HAVE extra catalogs, I will postal mail one to them whether they request it or not, again....to
keep my business in front of them!
#7) I give ALL HOSTESSES both ONLINE & OFFLINE a FREE gift FROM me (not from Tupp,
but at my expense) for referring NEW Customers to me or NEW party Hosts to me AFTER their
party closed...even if its a YEAR LATER! After all, they didnt get credit for it since it was AFTER
their party closed! Again I include a Thank YOU note card with that!
The more you MAKE YOUR ONLINE customers & offline customers for that matter, FEEL like
they are IMPORTANT TO YOU on a individual LEVEL, they will come back to you & they will
refer their friends & family to you too!
Word of MOUTH advertising is one of the BEST ways to build a profitable business!

This is a GREAT idea! Seems I'm getting a few online orders (esp. last month) and even tho they have already gotten their orders, I'm going to do the follow-up.
Thanks Shelly!

So what would you do if you had a host for an online party that did nothing - absolutely NO sales not even from herself?
And do you email them for the mailing address or how do you get that info?
TIA< Elisa

Elisa, I've never had an online party! :(

I did this with a couple of gals who ordered individual orders from my website. They were completely surprised and pleased!
