Jubilee 2006

This is my first posting on this BB. I am looking for an American perspective on Jubilee - we in Canada just found out that we will not be having our yearly conference (called Sessions) this spring, but rather will be participating in Jubilee 2006 in Florida. Can anyone tell me a little more about the event and whether or not there is a website up yet with more details? I've never been to FL, but would like to go...

I am surprised you aren't having Sessions - we are having a one day event in April but they are calling it something different (and it will be run by TW corporate instead of the regions and distributors, but that is another topic altogether). Jubilee is awesome, but I don't think anyone can describe what it will be like since this is the first time in a long time the whole country will be together (and apparently the Canadian consultants, too - I wonder if that means our specials and stuff are going to start to be more similar). Personally I loved the training at Jubilee - hearing some of the most successful people in the country talk for 45 minutes about one topic was a lot more helpful to me that the rushed 10 minute demos they squeeze in at Sessions. I also liked that there was more time to network and share ideas with new people - I love my ship, but it is good to get a different perspective now and then.

I don't think there is any extensive info up yet anywhere - all I have heard are the dates and the location. Perhaps there is a director on the boards who can tell us more.

Thanks for the response - I'll keep my eye out for future updates. I'm just a keener! :) Some of our local consultants have been to various Jubilee events over the past 10 years and they were blown away - I'm trying to imagine the attendance, excitement and activity of Sessions times at least 10 (maybe 100!), since we (Canada) are about 1/10 the size of the US in population... I'm really excited about it - hope I can save up the $ to go...

Figures, I am now a consultant, I live in GA, not far from Orlando and we'll be moving 2000 miles away before they have Jubilee. Grrr.:pullhair:

We are also having a 1 day session in Canada on April 8th. It will be at several locations across the country and one will be in Halifax Nova Scotia

I am hoping to be able to go to Jubilee this year.:applause: We moved to Florida in July 05 but we are in volunteer service, so we don't have lots of extra $$ but i hope I can go!!
