I am a fairly new consultant. Started the end of June. My first few months were awesome. With my September being over $3,000. And ended the year with a total of 6 recruits. However none of them have been working the business. I don't know how to manage a team, and I wasn't trained on how to do that.
After September, my parties started to be less and less. I haven't had a real party since October. Several times I have tried to motivate myself into getting busy again, but it's just not working.
Any suggestions? I don't want to quit, and I need to get back on track with TW.
I have felt that way before. When you say you have tried to get busy again have you been calling or out asking a certain amount of people each day? (each day or 3 days depending on how busy you want to get.) You need to be asking for parties or you just won't get them.
Maybe a multi host thing where everyone brings 3-5 people.
Send out invites and have an open house at your home or a business for all the people you don't know, invite them by finding them in the phone book, you could also do an ad in the paper.
Multi-vendor shows
Go back to the first hostess that you had and ask them again
Go through all your guest list and order forms to call each person to tell them what a hostess can get free right now.
You can send me a message if you have any question on any of these.

Thanks for taking the time to reply to my message.
For Party Hearty day, I sent out 140 invites from people that were past guests, hostess's, and anyone I knew. I had two people show up. I was so disappointed.
I just need to get on the phone and start making phone calls. That's all there is to it.
Thanks for the support.

My director tells us and I found out the hard way, that we are wasting our energy and money buy mailing things out. We should get on the phone and do invites that way. Mailers are simply reminders and don't get action. Phone calls get action.
Hope that helps!

The phone is the best way. I even have started to cold call people to see if they had a tw consultant. If they have seen tw in the last 2 month. Can I tell you what our host specials are? The first call is the hardest call to make and the 2-3rd calls are hard but do get better. I called for 25 minutes. No results other than I would like a catalog. Now I need to call back to see if I can get an order. But I think the calls will get better, your wordings get better. Hopfully I will date strangers on the phone. Its a start.
