Can anyone tell what the best way to get a fundraiser is? Other than our local religious education group and fundraising for March of Dimes, I have yet to be successful in finding a group or organization to do a fundraiser?
I don't know the best way but to create interest I would send or get fundraiser infor into the hand of someone that is involved with an organization, sport, church any thing like that. Yes you have to pass things along and you may not see anything right away. Sometime an organization needs to have several meetings before they deceide on what type of fundraiser the organization is going to do.

If you need any information or sheets that you can hand out when handing out the fundraiser flyer let me know. I have a print out for everything in Fundraiser. Thank-you letters to intro letters and information letters about why they should fundraise with Tupperware. Call every one you can think off that would like to fundraise, even if it's a family that needs help with there kids for good reasons, ex- wheelchair)
Anything you think is a good cause!!!

This is an email I sent to one of my consultants: Let me preface - there is no easy way - you gotta work for it...
Words of wisdom - I am being perfectly honest here - don't mail anything. The way you book fundraisers is to assume the sale and walk in the door. Ask for the director (school or daycare) and tell her/him you are there to offer a service - you want to hand them a check and all they have to do is say yes. At that point you will want to explain that you will do it with Tupperware and you will do all the work. Make sure your "talk" is less than 5 minutes - they dont have a lot of time. After you present the program and what you are going to do for them - you let them know you have March 15th or 17th available to kick it off - which is better for you? You should walk out with a date.
