open house

has anyone done an open house? my director is suggesting that i have one. i'm willing but nervous. i don't really talk to too many people and feel like i have already asked friends and family to help with parties/orders. so i'm a bit...terrified about asking "strangers"!! are they affective? thanks.

...a suggestion if you want to avoid strangers in your home... you can have it in the front lawn? its one way to have anyone passing view items and also preventing anyone in your home. Place balloons at gate and a sign sayin its a showcase/open house Tupperware... normally those that know Tupperware will stop by and most likely you dont have to talk just keep in mind have your knowledge of items you display. Tips on what they can find the item useful for. The item usually sales on it own. Just a thought... always trying is nerve wrecking. Chin up girl you'll be fine!:goodidea:

thank you, yes i was a bit worried about having people in my home. i was thinking about either doing it in the garage or in the back yard. depending on this wonderful rainy weather we have been having.
