Waht is up with the 3 wierdo posts - do they think we would want stuff like that - do these folks have nothing better to do? maybe we can do approval before being allowed to post, to help sort through the unwanteds - We had to do this on a Forum that i moderate on, as the spam was getting horrible some was very sexual in nature and alot about casinos and drugs - too sad that these folks have such borring lives and do not realize they are wasting thier time by not being productive

This website also has some 'tribalfusion' popups all the time. Why?

I agree with both of you. I know sometimes it's necessary to have ads on it to pay for the site but they are not needed with the content we have seen. I am no prude but I don't think it is necessary to have that!
Just my 2 cents!

The posts that I am talking about are not ads - they are people with the cheap pills and sex links - they are spammers
Where is the moderator? maybe membership needs to be approved so that these folks who are not here for things associated with Tupperware are not allowed to post
This was going on , on a board I moderate on and when we changed membership it stopped
And where has everyone gone? It is really quiet.... except for the spammers

It has been quiet,
I gotta say I can't stand those spam posts too - I know that Susan tries her best to keep up with them. And I thank her for that, but I too am wondering if maybe it ought the be a membership board only.
The ads are not nice either. I am sure that there is a reason, but I gotta say that F*rt window that pops up - I CANT STAND IT! :tears: Sometimes it makes my MS Office start, it makes me nervous.... Could be the reason the board is quiet, because of those pop up ads.
Just my 2 cents.

I do not get any pop up ads thank goodness - I downloaded some new program( not sure exactly what I was doing- I am pretty stupid on these things) is something with windows and msn but it does pretty good with blocking things, sometimes a little too much, like when I try to click a link it will not open the window as it is seen as a pop up LOL
Please do not get me wrong, I am NOT blameing Susan, I just wish these fools would go somewhere else and waste thier time, instead of bugging us
