Datings Messages At the Party
The "dating messages" that your prospective host hears from you during a Taste of Tupperware Party Experience are what will help you fill your datebook. Dating messages are statements that you make, interwoven with the party experience, that emphasize the fun & benefits of dating.
Your party is divided into 4 segments. You can weave dating messages into each one of these segments, to provide your guests with the most information possible to make the decision to date.
Message #1 INTRODUCTION
When you introduce yourself at the party, you should thank your host & mention the benefits that your host will/is receiving for being the HOST of the party.
Message #2 Throughout the Party
You can include dating messages that are linked to products or individual guests & their needs.
Message #3 Your Party Close
You definately want to take the opportunity for another dating message by pointing out the benefits of dating again, & invite the current guests to host a party.
Message #4 One on One
At the close of a Party, while customers are placing an order, or any time you are one on one with a prospective host.
Guests make great prospects because they have heard your dating messages through-out the party, they may have also seen the Host Gift Special that they would like to receive, but most importantly, they have experienced the FUN of a Taste of Tupperware Party Experience firsthand!
See you NEW Consultant BINDER for examples of Dating Messages, below is just a few that I picked out:
#1) Jane Doe, I would love to come to your home to help you & your friends prepare some easy & delicous recipes & you can earn some FREE Tupperware Products! Which party experience sounded fun to you?
#2) Once again, Thank you all for coming. I invite you all to shop, and I would be happy to help you place your orders. If you would like to receive FREE gifts like Jane Doe did, then I'd love to come to your home for a Taste of Tupperware Party Experience!
(above are just 2 dating message examples!)

Dating Over the Phone:
As a Tupperware Consultant, You will soon find that the telephone is one of your best business building tools. While the party is the best place for a dating conversation, its not always possible at that time. If you didnt get time to talk to someone, or they were unable to come to the party, make a follow-up phone call. Be sure to make the phone call within 24 hours of the party.
Some Ideas on Making Dating Calls:
#1. Set aside some good time when you will not be interrupted.
#2. Place what you want to say on 3x5 index cards & keep by your phone. Rehearse ahead of time what you want to say.
#3. Call the people who you feel most comfortable with FIRST.
#4. Be enthusiastic about what you have to offer.
#5. Write down a goal "I will not stop until I have 5 datings".
#6. Use the 5 step sales process as a guide during your dating phone calls (copy of that is in our TUPP101 Section).
Briefly: Prospect, Ask Questions, Selling the FAB, Overcoming Objections, Commitment/Closing.
Calling Past Hosts: Hosts who have had successful parties with you before are MORE likely to have another one. Make it a point to re-contact your hosts every 3-4 months to ask for repeat datings & to inform them of NEW Current Host Exclusive Gifts & Promotions.
Calling Recent Customers: Customer updating is a system of contacting recent customers once every 3 months to tell them about new products & promotions. Its a GREAT WAY to get new datings/bookings.
Calling Leads: Sometimes you will be given names of potential hosts by other customers. You'll want to be sure and call them within 48 hours of receiving their name. Use the 5 steps discussed previously to make some notes on what you would say when calling a lead.
Datings are Everywhere! Carry Catalogs & flyers & offer them to everyone you come into contact with! Keep a piece of tupperware product in your car! Carry your loose change in a small tupperware product (our mini coin canister holder) is awesome for this! Use Tupperware any time you take snacks or foods somewhere (example: bake sales, picnics, family & school reunions, potlucks etc). Use a Tupperware Keychain! Where a Tupperware Name Badge or Where a Tupperware Logo Slogan Pin! Add a Tupperware Bumper Sticker or Window CLING to your automobile!
