ShelfSmart™ Line to be Discontinued
Tupperware made the decision to discontinue the ShelfSmart™ Container line effective December 31, 2004.
ShelfSmart™ products received mixed reviews since their launch. Customers loved the sleek, clean design of the line and the integrated handle and the innovative valve on the seal. Some customers had difficulty with the seal application. As a result, the sales performance of the line has not met expectations. While we explore future enhancements to the seal design, we encourage you to refocus on the Modular Mates® line.
To support those who have started a customized kitchen with ShelfSmart™ containers, we will offer special discounted sets in the January/February Monthly Flyer. Also, we will continue to support sales of all 12 individual container sizes for six months (through June 30, 2005). Pricing, product and ordering information is attached and will be available in the My Sales Web Application (see What's Hot page) to use as a quick reference tool.
