Below you will find the script for the One Minute Dating Call.
Be sure to practice it first before making calls. It is also helps to work with Consultants and/or Managers who are experienced with this activity.
“Hi, this is _________________, with Tupperware. I have such exciting news and I am sitting here with several other Tupperware Consultants and I only have one minute to talk!
We have been challenged to see just how many parties our team can date in one hour. It is Tupperware’s 60th Birthday and we have fabulous gifts to offer right now. But since I only have one minute, all I need from you right now is a YES! Great! I have __________ or __________ open in my schedule. Which date would work best for you? I will get your planning packet mailed to you right away with all of the details. Talk to you soon!”
(When the answer is “yes”, the Consultant on the phone gives her team the “thumbs up” so they can cheer and the other team will hear!)
Important: Know how to answer if you don’t get a “yes”
If the answer is “No” “May I send you a new catalog and call back at a later date?
The Consultant then calls after the catalog has been received.”
If the answer is “Maybe” “Great. My time is up right now so may I call you back tomorrow at a more convenient time? I can’t wait to give you the details!”
