Punch Bowl Cake
1 regular yellow cake mix
2 regular boxes instant vanilla pudding
2 regular cans cherry pie filling
2 regular cans pineapple - crushed, drained
2 small containers whipped topping
(crushed nuts, marachino cherries - optional)
Option: Chocolate cake mix and pudding may be substituted for vanilla.
Option #2: Buy prepared Angel Food Cake for a quick dessert. Substitute
fresh, frozen or canned fruit of your choice.
Directions: Bake cake in 6 1/4 cup Heat and Serve in Microwave for 10
minutes. Allow cake to cool. Make pudding according to directions on box.
Crumble 1/2 of cake into Watercolor Salad/Punch Bowl. Layer with 1 box
pudding, 1 can cherry pie filling, 1 can pineapple and 1 container
whipped topping. Repeat the layers, finally, decorate with nuts and
marachino cherries.


English Trifle
3 small packages of Jello
2 packages frozen fruit or 2 large cans fruit
1 package Ladyfingers or cut up pound cake
1 box Jello custard pudding mix
Directions: Line Watercolor Salad/Punch Bowl with Ladyfingers or cake.
Put in fruit. Pour Jello - partially set - over cake. Place bowl in
refrigerator to set. Make custard according to directions on box, but
reduce amount of milk by 1/4 cup. When custard is partially set, pour
over Jello layer. Before serving, decorate with whipped cream.
