This turns out Yummy and Moist!
I finally got around to trying this one for myself
the results were great~ :co1
you use the microwave oval cooker
one full size cake mix
I used Devils food chocolate
and
1 18 oz can of pumpkin
mix those two ingredients together the mixture will be really thick and then spread into the base of your oval microwave cooker
Put in the microwave on high for 8 to 10 minutes, Mine was done in 8minutes
then top with a can of canned
Buttercream frosting!
or you can also top with cool whip if you prefer!
This was really good, you do not taste the pumpkin and it smells up your house nicely when its baking in the microwave!!!
what a great treat to fix when you have nothing ready and unexpected company shows up :daisy1:

How long do you wait to flip the cake out and do you spray the cooker first? I can't wait to try it!

I just wait a few minutes amd leave it in the cooker then frost it in there and cover it if there are any leftovers :daisy1:

Here is another way you can top this cake off
after it comes out of the microwave poke holes in the top and pour a can of sweetened condensed Milk over the top
then pour over that a jar or bottle of caramel ice cream topping
( I usually use the smuckers squeeze bottle)
Then frost with a tub of cool whip and use the quick chef to chop up some heath bars and sprinkle over the top
THIS IS SOOOOOOOOO Moist and Delicious! A Huge Hit!

Please help me. I've lost the recipe I had for a black forest type cake that was made with a tin of cherry pie filling and a devil's food cake mix. It was made in the large microwave 'microsteamer'. Can you help me?? We're going camping and I need it to make for a stand-in for my Husband's birthday cake.
We have a microwave in the camper. Any help out there?

A Lady at one of my parties told me that for halloween she has made the cake mix with the can of pumpkin using a CHOCOLATE CHIP Cake mix
it gives it an orange color and with the chocolate chips is fun for the Holiday, this might be a great idea for Halloween oriented parties or this time of year!!! :)
