“The Oval 2 container alone has 41 uses in our Custom Kitchen Plan — from storing 200 envelopes of artificial sweetener to 2 lbs. of brown sugar. So for maximum storage flexibility, we put four Oval 2 containers in our Tower of Power.

“The Oval 1 is a handy place to store make-up and brushes or even collect coins and keys.

Here’s a great storage tip: Empty your staples (flour, sugar, cornmeal, pasta) into your Modular Mates™ containers. Then, cut and file those important recipes and instructions from the back of the box or bag in the Tower of Power’s Oval 3 container—it’s the perfect recipe box to place right next to your food.

“Since the Square 2 container is perfect for storing and serving snacks, we included 2 in the Tower of Power. The container holds 1 lb. of corn chips, soda crackers or marshmallows.

“Got a caffeine fiend in your family? They’ll love the Square 3 container—it holds 3 lbs. of ground coffee.

“A Square 1 container is only 2½” high, but holds 5 cups of food. Try it for 200 envelopes of artificial sweetener, or 2 lbs. of popcorn kernels (or 3 packages of microwave popcorn).

“For bulk storage, the Square 4 container holds 8 lbs. of flour, 10 lbs. of sugar, or 5 lbs. of baking or pancake mix.

And wait ’til you see how they stack! Modular Mates™ containers are just that—modular. They stack up equally—a “1” and “2” stacked together equal the height of a “3”.

Modular Mates™ Containers are Classic Sheer™ with your choice of Bold ’N Blue or Hazelnut seals.

More thoughts: the Modular Mates™ seals! Unique virtually air- and liquid-tight seals. Each has projections or raised portions that fit over indentations on the rim of the container to ensure proper alignment for a tight fit. Square and Rectangular seals also have a special tab at one corner to make it easier to remove them.

Demonstrating the Modular Mates™ seal:
Ovals
1. Align one projection on seal with indentation on the container.
2. Press down while sliding thumbs around the seal.
Squares and Rectangulars
1. Align one corner projection on seal with corner indentation on the container.
2. Press down while sliding thumbs around the rest of the seal. (Food and beverages should be allowed to cool before sealing.)

To remove seal:
Ovals
Loosen one projection, then slide thumb or finger around under the rest of the seal until it comes free.
Squares and Rectangulars
Loosen corner projection that has the special opening tab, then slide thumb or finger around under the rest of the seal until it comes free.
(Never grab a seal and “rip” it from the container. Using thumb or finger to work the seal offal around the container will prolong the seal’s life and tight fit.)
