TUPPER MICRO- STEAMER TACO DIP

1 POUND GROUND BEEF
1 CAN FRIED BEANS
1 PKG ORTEGA SEASONING MIX
1 JAR ORTEGA SALSA
2 CUPS OF CHEDDER
TORTILLA CHIPS

PUT GROUND BEEF INTO STEAMER BASKET AND COVER. PUT INTO MICR AND COOK 3 MINUTES, BREAK UP HAMBURGER INTO SMALLER PIECES AND THEN MICROWAVE ANOTHER 3 MINUTES. REMOVE HAMBURGER AND DRAIN FAT OUT OF THE BOTTOM. PLACE HAMBURGER INTO THE BOTTOM OF THE MICRO-STEAMER AND ABB BEANS, SALSA, AND SEASONING. STIR WELL AND PLACE INTO MICROWAVE FOR 2-3 MINUTES. ADD SHREDDED CHEDDER CHEESE AND PU INTO THE MICRO ANOTHER 2-3 MINUTES TILL MELTED. EAT WHILE STILL WARM WITH TORTILLA CHIPS.

Is is okay to brown the ground beef in this? If so, I will definitely try this! Sounds yummy!!

I had always heard that it was okay to cook raw foods in the Tuppewave stack cooker and the oval cooker only.

When I browned beef in mine, it made it kinda bubbly and white a few places. :rain I don't know what I did wrong!!

Did you put water in the bottom of the microsteamer?? Cover the bottom with water..since this is a steamer.
