What are you doing to get new leads? :help:
I have called everyone I ever knew - and all the guest list sheets I have called them - done some cold calling out of the phone book - did a few fairs (no luck there) - most people I ask or talk to on the street won't give out their names or phone numbers - most people tell me they don't want to give me a phone number and name as I will call them and bug them to order something. I am in a small area my Director pretty much has our small town wrapped up (she has been doing Tupperware 25+ years) so I am going to other towns in my area with no success. Bit frustrated, need to have parties or at least get some orders generated.

kelly, i put catalogs(with email, web and phone#) in the dr office, cab co.(just got a party from there)convence stores, and restarunts. auto repair, any where they will let me. got some leads and orders this way. hope this helps :luck:
I do lots of vendor things, at least 2 a month. Get orders, sell off the table and date parties. I had a hard time starting out myself once I had asked family and friends. They don't normally want you to do well at a business party plan anyway. They think it is a waste of time/money, and I set out to prove my family wrong. It worked, I gave up for about 3 months (that was a year ago) and came back with a different mind set and GOALS. I am doing great now that I know what I want. If you don't have goals set you will never know where you want to be. Now when starting out don't set a goal so high that you know you will never reach it, but so it makes you work at it.
Vendor shows
Multi Host parties
Mystery Party
Catalogs Everywhere
Where ever you do business, ask the gals at the desk "Is there any products I could order for you?"
Out of town friends/relitives to do a Catalog Party
Hope this helps a little. That is just what comes to mind right now.

I have left catalogs/flyers anywhere and everywhere I go - still no responses - I used up all my old one's with a sticker on them that they were outdated and call for a current one - I have left current one's. I have tried mystery hosts, multi hosts and just about anything I can with hosts - still no responses. I even tried my own open house - not one person showed up! I am not trying to be negative here, just new ideas. I put my business card anywhere I can - give it to cashiers, put them in my bills, on any bulliten board I find. I have tried the signs on the bulliten boards where they can tear off your name and phone number - no response. And all my family and friends that are out of town either refused to to Catalog or online parties or have done them and don't want to do another one. I have even asked everyone for referrals and tried bribing them with something out of a my surprise packs for names and phone numbers. Just getting frustrated. I want this to work and everything I try doesn't seem to go anywhere. :rain

I have heard that when a realator sells a house they leave a housewarming gift for the new buyers. Does anyone have a mock letter that they use to contact these real estate offices to get hte initial leads rolling? If so, please forward a copy to me if you don't mind: cindybrewer@my2.tupperware.com.
As for other suggestions, I plan to put catalogs in tanning centers and Curves, and make flyers to post in the grocery stores. Have you also contacted your local boy and girl scouts or other organizations about doing a fundraiser for you? That might get things started for you.
Hope these help!

Hi Kelley,
I'm sorry you're having a rough time. I hope it is better already or gets better soon. Did you get the website? Have you tried online promos? That's how I joined up was through a "WAHM" co-op advertising group.
