Hey, everyone!
How can I get people to book parties and hold a party? I even offered a no tax party if there's more than 7 people attending, and place an order of $70.00 or more.
Is there another secret of getting people to hold a party? :wash:

Try asking if they will do an open house for you and there will be no demo. Then when people come they visit you talk to each one individually about the products. Ask them questions like "have you seen how the fridgesmarts work?" or "have you used any of our rock n serve or heat n serve?" What ever you take talk about them but it will be more of a one on one. Do like 1 1/2 hours, tell the host not everyone will come at the same time and it may work out for more of your family and friends. Serve refreshments and something very simple. Because each person will only be there long enough to order and maybe visit for a few minutes.

That sounds good. But I tried an open house where it was open between 10:00a.m.-4:00p.m.
Only one person showed up. Which was a real bummer!! How can I attract people on having a party? :tree:

I use to play the dating game and found it VERY useful.. the whole trick to the game is not what you say but how you say it.

Before you start anything ...you must remind yourself that you are providing a much needed service and no one is doing you a "favour" by having a party.

I would stock up on keychains and magnets. I would then place a slip of paper in each one (keeping very careful to track them by numbering them and listing what I wrote on the paper)

Example of what I wrote:

CONGRATULATIONS!! You have just won a forget me not!

CONGRATULATIONS!! You have just won a soup mug (etc..anything small to medium that you just have extra in stock that you received in a surprise bag and cost you very little)

Or it might say..

CONGRATULATIONS!! You just WON a Tupperware Party !! and a Can Opener as your host gift when you hold your demonstration !!
( the gift of course is much bigger than just a giveaway slip - and more of these slips are made than the straight gift giveaway )

You really want to build up the anticipation so by the time they open their keychain ( if they choose to ) they really believe they have been the lucky ones to have won a demonstraion!! they book and usually hold.

If you like this idea and want to know about how I executed the whole game than please e-mail me @ dsturba@cogeco.ca

I don't want to bore you if you have tried this game and found it useless in your area.

Hope it helps!!

Lots of luck and keep smiling!!
Deb :)

Hey Deb.
I tried to e-mail you back on more info about the party idea it sounds awsome. If you can give me a little bit more info that would be great.
Do you give out the keychain if someone books a party off the party that's going on? Or just as prizes?
