Quesiton on Hostess Rewards

I have someone interested in purchasing the 9pc Cookware for 580.00 (since tupperware in honoring the mistake). I told him if he also brings me 175.00 in sales, he can get it for 1/2 price. Ok i understand that.. BUT.... What would the total of my commission come from ? The 175.00 (not the cookware), the 175.00 + 580.00, 175+290 (1/2 price).

I was all excited about getting this sale and want to make sure I should stay excited.. Do we get credit (commission) for hostess purchases?

Yes, you get sales credits for hostess purchases as long as those are not hostess credit purchases. In this case she/he will be paying $290 for a 1/2 price item and you wil be credited for that amount.

I know this because I sold this set last month to my mom as host.

You will get sales credit for the $290, but not commission. Your commission would only be on the $175 in sales (meaning your profit would be about $44). Technically you are better off (in the short term) if he just orders it at full price, since you would then make 25% of the $580, but in the long run you are gaining a great customer (anyone who buys the cookware is a potential long term customer) and getting your name out to the other people who place orders through him. And if her ever talks to anyone who needs Tupperware he will probably tell them about you since you offered him this great deal.
