Business Change Details
Much is happening in our business right now, as we pave the way for a better business. We all
know that when you build a new road, you sometimes have to clear the way so you can start
picking up speed. In this case, it means we need to make some changes that will ultimately play a
big role in simplifying your business and increasing your income.

Last Day of Sales Month in 2005
The last Friday of every month throughout 2005 will be the last day of the sales month. This is the
first step to going to a calendar month in 2006. As we move toward a monthly business, all
consumer and Host offers (no matter when they start) will end at the close of the sales month.

Close of the Sales Month
Starting April 29, the close of the sales month, as it relates to entering sales and recruits, will move
to 11:59 p.m. “state” time. State time will be based on the Consultant’s “mail to” address stored in
the Tupperware system.

Sales force members who live in states with multiple time zones, will have a closing time based on
the latest of the two time zones. For example, the state of Florida has two time zones (Eastern and
Central). Sales force members living in Florida will have a business close time of 11:59 p.m. Central
time.

To support recruiting without boundaries, if a down-line team member’s closing time is later than
her/ his up-line, the up-line will receive sales credit for team royalties for that sales month.

End Dates and One-week Grace Periods
So they will be easy to remember, all offer dates will be clearly published on all flyers. To make it
even easier, we will implement a standard one-week grace period for all offers. This means you can
use the current month’s flyer through the last day of each sales month and still have one week to
order the flyer items.

Partial Parties
Partial parties are the number one area of confusion for new Consultants. With the implementation
of the standard one-week grace period for all offers, there is no longer a need for partial parties.
Starting with the June 2005 sales month, the option to enter a partial party will be eliminated. The
ability to enter orders in a “pending” status will continue to be available.

Shipping Fees
To cover the actual cost of fulfillment and shipping for small orders, and to encourage everyone to
consolidate multiple customer orders into fewer shipments, starting in May, we will add a $4
consultant shipping fee to all party and non-party shipments that fall below $75 in retail, regardless
of where the order is being shipped.
This $4 shipping fee will not apply to sample-only orders, sales aid-only orders, warranty orders and
direct-to-customer orders.

Extended Sampling Program
To support our current two-month flyer strategy, sampling will now be extended throughout the
entire flyer cycle. This means new Consultants joining the business during any given flyer cycle will
always have the option to purchase samples to enhance their Business Kits.
