Hurricane Katrina Relief Plan
As we promised, Tupperware is implementing a plan to assist those affected by Hurricane Katrina.
First:
Tupperware is donating 10,000 of our Large Carry All Containers to needy survivors in Louisiana, Alabama, and Mississippi. We believe this is the ideal product, due to its large 14-quart capacity; the included handle; and, of course, its airtight and liquid-tight seal, to help recipients keep personal items, food, and other valuables dry and protected from the elements. :co1
Second:
To provide everyone on the U.s. sales force—as well as your Hosts and customers—with an easy yet effective way to contribute, we'll be offering a special FlatOut!™ 4-Cup Container in Blueberry for $10 from now through the end of the current sales month on September 30th. For each container sold, Tupperware will donate $9 to the American Red Cross to assist emergency relief services. See the attached printable flyer you can share with party guests to promote this special fundraising offer for a very worthy cause.
Third:To provide rapid assistance to the members of our Tupperware family who've been affected by Katrina, Tupperware is inviting its sales force and Associates throughout the world to donate money through a link on Tupperware.com to assist these members of our sales force in their personal and family needs. This link will be set up very soon, and Tupperware will match contributions dollar-for-dollar up to $50,000.If you've watched the news or seen the papers, you know what a massive and profound tragedy this hurricane has created. You can be proud to know that whenever there's been a need in the world on a scale like this, you've responded with the kind of love and caring that makes Tupperware such a remarkable company. We have always been about the heart, and now is a critical time to join together and act from the heart to lend a hand to our neighbors in the South who desperately need it. Let's all take action and make a difference right now, because that's what Tupperware is all about.
Sales Tax:As a convenience to you and your customers, we have reduced the Consultant cost on this item to account for sales tax within the $10 price.
Shipping and Handling:If this item is ordered in combination with other items, you will incur no additional shipping and handling charge. You will incur a shipping and handling fee of $2.75 for this item only if ordered by itself.
Sales Credit:Tupperware is donating all proceeds from the sales of this item (minus a $1 handling charge per item) to help the survivors of Hurricane Katrina, and thanks you for partnering with us in this effort. To maximize the proceeds contributed directly to this cause, no sales credit will be issued on these sales.
