First Party

Hi! This is my first time posting on the board.
I have my first party coming up and am looking for ideas on what to do. I am planning on ordering a Quick Chef and maybe doing salsa/dips and some dessert, but I don't know what to talk about or how to do giveaways or even what's recommended for giveaways.
I plan on placing an order tomorrow for sales aids and a couple of more items since I only have the Quick Start kit. So, any suggestions are greatly appreciated!

STUFF YOU MIGHT BE ABLE TO DO AT A PARTY AND QUICK IS.....USE THE QUICK CHEF TO MAKE SALSA, BUT ALSO USE IT TO MAKE WHIPPED CREAM FOR YOUR DESSERTS. FOR ONE OF MY PARTIES I MADE WHIPPED CREAM ON THE QUICK CHEF AS A DEMONSTRATION AND ASK PEOPLE TO TRY. I USED HEAVY WHIPPED CREAM WHICH YOU CAN BUY AT COSTCO OR SAM'S FOR ABOUT 3 BUCKS, ADD SUGAR AND VANILLA EXTRACT AND YOU ARE DONE. I MADE JELLO ON THE JELLO MOLD FROM TUPPERWARE AND ADDED THE WHIPPED CREAM TO THE CENTER.

One thing I did to save money at first was to demonstrate with items I already had at home. I also use the Quick chef to show how fast and easy it is to make Salsa in 5 mins or less for those unexpected guests that may drop by. I also play the Left and Right Game with a keychain as the prize, and do a Clothes Pin game to keep things lively. I give smidgets away to any one that orders as some offer free shipping, half off shipping, 20% off orders of $50 or more, no tax (I'm in canada), mystery gift, party and a gift, and whatever else you may want to offer as an incentive.
